For the second week in a row and when playing at the same ground, Hornets were unable to collect three points. Despite having a number of good chances and playing the better football, poor decision making cost the visitors who were left to rue the chances they missed.

Tom Marchment Williams is asking for the golden boot to be polished already as he scored his fourth goal of the season to put Hornets a goal up midway through the first half. But two long range efforts from the home side found the net when the ball wasn’t closed down quick enough. Hornets had chances to equalise, Dan Hollings saw his shot denied by the post and Diesel had an effort well blocked by the keeper but the home side held on to take the spoils.

Hornets will need to refocus and regroup and try to remember how to put the nets up as they prepare for their first home game of the season next week.
