It was derby day for the Hornets Reserves who took on bitter rivals GDL Reserves in Division 5. Looking for revenge for the reverse fixture and the cup exit, Hornets were unable to better a team they desperately want to beat.
The defeat is the first since Hangover back in January and only the second in nine games, the last being the GDL Cup game. Sadly, with results elsewhere in the league going against them, Hornets drop to sixth in the table and the points gap is starting to look worrying.
However, with four games left and all of them against sides above them in the table, it provides the Reserves with a chance to claw back some points they lost earlier in the season.
