Hornets were thrashed 6-1 by Ale Madrid this past weekend, five of the goals coming in the first half.

It could have been a cricket score judging by the first half performance and Hornets were very lucky to have kept eleven men on the field after Ben Powell decided to be rush-goalkeeper when the Ale attack beat Ruffy which made Powell save the resulting shot with his hands. He was only given a yellow even though it should have been red.

The second half calmed down, both teams only scoring one each, the Hornets goal coming from Tom Wedgbury but a sobering match that Hornets need to wake up from.
