Hornets 2011 Player of the Year, Dan Hollings, has hung up his gloves for Hornets FC after 36 appearances for the club. In those games he kept four clean sheets, the best ratio for a goalkeeper at the club and he took home the golden boot from the Hornets foray into Futsal.

Hi Fellas, Sadly boys I won’t be playing for Hornets any more this season. I’ve been asked to play for Bromyard and cannot turn down the opportunity. I hope we can all keep in touch and I wish the first and reserve teams all the best for the rest of the season. It has been a really tough decision and would like to thank Richie and all the manager and players for all their support it has been massibley appreciated. Thanks lads.
Dan has revived his career at Bromyard Town and in his first game after leaving Hornets, he was voted the games “star man”.
Hollings kept Bromyard in the game, making fine saves from Marvin Nisbett and Pete Wood in a second period in which the hosts were pinned back for long spells.
Hornets FC would like to wish Dan all the best for his future and hope that he won’t be a stranger to the club.
